480 Washington Street is one of only three houses built on the land of the former Blake estate since the second phase of the Blake Park development ended in 1941.(A fourth post-development house, the first in nearly 50 years, was under construction in the fall of 2005).

The residents of this house, which was not built until after the period surveyed for this project, have not been included here.
