One of 10 Blake Park houses built by the firm of Burdo & Boyd, 54 Blake Road was the home of John Henry Lacy, owner of the John H. Lacy Funeral Home on Harvard Street, and his wife Anna. The family lived here until 1956. Their nephew George, who also worked at the funeral home, was listed at this address as well through 1941.
