One of two houses in Blake Park designed by the architects Isenberg & Feer. (The other is 46 Blake Road), 69 Stanton was the home for to members of the Ring family for nearly 60 years.

Daniel Ring was a streetcar motorman, although he was listed as retired by the time the family moved to this house. He and his wife Margaret, both born in Ireland, had four daughters and two sons. The three oldest daughters worked as stenographers in government offices for at least part of the time the family lived here.

The 1930 U.S. Census showed all eight members of the family living at 69 Stanton, although the Brookline Street List only listed some of Daniel and Margaret's children at this address. The full listing from the Census included: Daniel T. Ring, 45, motorman (street railroad) born Irish Free State; Margaret Ring, 40, born Irish Free State; Catherine T. Ring, 25, stenographer (state); Ethel M. Ring, 24, stenographer (state); Helen B. Ring, 22, stenographer (city); Joseph T. Ring, 21, wall paper salesman; Daniel P. Ring, 18; and Florence D. Ring, 14. The house was valued at $20,000.

The Street List showed different members of the family living with Daniel and Margaret in different years.

There are numerous discrepancies in the records relating to the Ring family, especially in regard to their ages. The 1930 Census showed Daniel as 45 years old and Margaret as 40; in the 1920 Census they were shown as 43 and 41.

The ages of the children are also inconsistent between the two sets of Census figures. Adding to the confusion, Daniel's 1918 draft registration showed his year of birth as 1873, which would make it four years earlier than shown in the 1920 Census and 12 years earlier than in the 1930 Census. The 1920 and 1930 Census also give different dates for Daniel and Margaret's immigration to the U.S. (1897 in the 1920 Census and 1906 in the 1930 Census.)

There are numerous inconsistencies from year to year in the Brookline Street List as well. At least some members of the Ring family were listed at this address, however, until the late 1980s.
