One of 10 houses in Blake Park constructed by the builders Burdo & Boyd (and one of three of those houses designed by Joseph McGann), 75 Stanton Road was the home at first of Earl and Marion Burgess and their family. They were listed at this address from 1931 until the late 1950s.

Earl Burgess (1896-1981) was a real estate salesman at the time he and his wife moved to Brookline from Boston. He later became a funeral director (first listed that way in 1939.) He died in Connecticut in 1981.
