Road, along with #92 next door, were built in 1930 by builder Louis
Glazer and architect Charles J. Bateman.

Gardner was the home of Abraham and Helen Sacks. Abraham Sacks,
born in Odessa, Russia, was owner with his brothers of H. Sacks
& Sons, an antique furniture shop at 62 Harvard Street in Brookline.
The Sacks,
who were married in 1920, had three sons and a daughter. They were
listed at this address until 1952. Helen died in 1957 and Abraham
in 1969.
